Aquaponics unit – Cambodia
In the summer of 2018 a team of 4 of engineers and myself, an architectural student, built an aquaponic’s family unit that we fundraised for and installed on land in Sen Sok, a rural Cambodian village.
My role was to:
- Document the experience to explain to other people why, what and how we are doing what we are doing through film.
- Digitally model the farm to help future donors envision the projected plans for the growth/development of the farm.
- Make important diagrams/images and renders , of the projected plans for the farm, part of the brand identity.

Klara checking out the fish – White Tapia are one of the best fish for Aquaponics units, but we were told that Trout is a very viable option in the UK.

Romain was teaching us how to recognise different deficiencies in plants and what to do if we recognise them.

Fresh yummy veg! Can be harvested each week due to the nutrient rich water passing through the gravel.

In Sen Sok village looking at the existing 5 family units installed. We were about to make it 6…
